Broiled Pear Crumble recipe

Recipe for Broiled Pear Crumble with greek yoghurt – a quick dessert for the whole family.

You may use pear, apple, peach, or nectarine
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. rolled oats
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Greek yogurt, sour cream or creme fraiche

How to
Preheat your broiler (griller); I often used a small toaster oven rather than my large oven

With 1 Tbsp. of butter, lightly grease 4 ramekins

Slice the fruit into 4 pieces, removing pit or seeds, and put a slice into each lightly buttered ramekin,skin side down

Mix the brown sugar, rolled oats and 1 Tbsp. of melted butter in a small dish and put a 1/4 of that mixture atop each fruit slice

Broil for about 10-15 minutes until fruit and topping are warm and bubbly

Serve with a dollop of yogurt or creme drizzled with the hot sugar/butter mixture in the bottom of the ramekin
