French Toast with Mascarpone, Berries and Honey recipe

Scrumptious breakfast recipe for French Toast with Mascarpone Cheese and Mixed Berries

Ingredients
4 slices of SASKO Plus+ Oats and Honey Bread
125ml milk
3 eggs, beaten
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
40g butter
30ml honey
100g mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
50ml mascarpone cheese
50g flaked almonds

How to
In a small bowl, mix the beaten egg, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg

Place the bread in a shallow container and pour the egg mixture over the bread

Let the egg soak into the bread

In a frying pan, melt butter over a medium heat

Place the egg-soaked bread in the pan and fry until golden brown

Assembly:
Serve warm

Divide between two plates

Spoon over the mascarpone scatter the berries and almonds and drizzle with honey
