Perfect snack for kids with this recipe for refined sugar-free Choc Nut Energy Balls
¼ cup raw almonds
¼ cup raw cashews
150g pitted dates
1 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp cacao
½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp sugar free peanut butter
1½ tbsp raw honey
Pop the almonds and cashews in a food processor and blitz for a few seconds until finely chopped.
Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor and blitz until everything is combined and you have a thick paste.
Roll teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls. Arrange the balls on a small baking tray and pop them in the fridge to firm up.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
